In 2017, the airline started its own pilot academy in order to train the best possible pilots and at the same time reduce the financial participation of the candidates. The company was established in 2004 and has grown continuously since then. TUI fly is Belgium’s 2nd largest airline. It will be certified in early June and will be ready for the first training sessions in September. The simulator was installed at the end of May. The simulator will also facilitate the ongoing training of pilots already working for the airline. Thanks to this tool, the future pilots will be trained to comply with the procedures and requirements of the airline, in actual flight conditions. The simulator will be a valuable tool for the students of the pilot academy that was launched in 2017 by TUI fly.
